How many cars do you have on the go at the moment? Would it be your sixth?

Repeat with me:

- The "Sei" had SIX carburetors for (only) six cylinders. One for each one of them. Impossible to synchronize!

- We are stronger than that!

The sixth under my direct ownership, the ninth that requires me to fix things on them.

Definitely not anything anytime soon, but yet another thing added to the 'must own' list.

That does sound hideous, but the later ones had the injected engines from the GTV6, and I'd go with that if I'm swapping in a 3.5l anyway.

I wonder what other engines had one carb per cylinder? I can't think of any off the top of my head.

I think some motorcycles came with one carb per cylinder on V-twins and even some straight-4s. But I don't know shit about motorcycles other than a passing knowledge, so do some fact-checking before you believe me.

EDIT: Also, some old school Japanese race cars had single-barrel motorcycle carbs on 4-pots and straight sixes too, back in the 60s too I think.

I once searched for a CBX 1000 for months before slowly forget about it and move on. Happily I didn't found any affordable one and my sanity is still (mostly) intact.

Came back for more. Can't stop looking at these now. Thankfully for my wallet, they're non-existent in the states.

This one shot is fantastic. There aren't many around, so most of the pics are from the rather turgid press material. This one really stood out.

I'm not sure they even sold them in the States. They never sold in great numbers even over here. Something around 10,000 for the whole run.

Don't believe they did sell them in the States at all. To be honest, this is only the second time I've seen them even so much as mentioned on the internet.
